please don't try to make this a gender issue, i'm not trying to be a
misandrist or misogynist.
but just think, most horror movies focus on extreme pain and torture
with women more than they do men. most victims in the saw movies are
women-whose "traps" are typically more brutal. The hills have eyes
show the young teenage girl repeatledly raped, the human centipede
shows the most horrible parts on the two girl victims rather than the
male character, the killer within begins with a brutal rape/murder
scene, the list goes on and on. what is it about women in physical and
mental pain that the movie industry deems tasteful?
